Your Hair Center's DHI specialists
The Istanbul team, rotating between the two centres
Trained on direct implantation with the Choi pen specifically
Direct hair implantation with the Choi pen. The pen opens the channel and places the follicle in one motion, so the recipient area is not shaved. A DHI hair transplant in Aleppo by Your Hair Center's Istanbul team, well suited to women and to men who want a quiet return to work.
Before the steps, meet the instrument. The pen itself changes how the whole session runs.
A DHI hair transplant places each follicle with the Choi pen at its own angle, and it is one of three methods we use. No single technique suits every case. Each of the three is a method inside the transplant, not a procedure of its own. The table puts them side by side so that the choice for your case rests on clear criteria rather than marketing promises, and the consultation settles it.
| Criterion | DHI, Choi pen | Sapphire FUE | Classic FUE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shaving the recipient area | Usually not needed | Needed | Needed |
| Density per cm² | High and controlled | High | Moderate |
| Recovery time | 6 to 8 days | 7 to 10 days | 10 to 14 days |
| Maximum in one session | About 6,000 grafts | About 5,500 grafts | About 5,000 grafts |
| Suitability for women | The usual choice, no shaving | Acceptable | Impractical |
| Direction and angle | Set per follicle | Good control | Limited control |

Four stages, one day, and you walk out of the clinic in the evening. The timings are written as they stand in the session schedule, not as marketing figures.
Drawing the front hairline, measuring donor density and setting the graft count. About 45 minutes.
Extraction with a fine micro-punch that preserves the donor area. Two to three hours.
Each follicle is loaded into a Choi pen tip and kept chilled between extraction and implantation to protect its viability. Runs alongside stage four.
The pen opens the channel and places the follicle in one motion, with the angle, depth and density set for each graft. Three to four hours.
The procedure price alone never shows the real cost. Both of our centres are open to you, so here is the whole bill, line by line, as it actually leaves your pocket.
Travel, hotel and airport pickup are arranged by Sima and billed separately at cost. Most Western governments advise against travel to Syria; their advice is linked on the travel guide.
Practical and precise questions, answered with the same candour you will find from the Sima team in the consultation room.
No. DHI is a method inside the transplant, not a procedure of its own. The follicles are still taken from the donor area one by one with a fine micro-punch. The difference is how they are placed. With DHI, the Choi pen opens the channel and places the follicle in one motion, so the recipient area is not shaved and the angle is set for each follicle. Which method suits your case is decided from your photos at the consultation, not from a menu, and the table above shows the differences without embellishment.
DHI Pro is a marketing term with no accredited medical counterpart. The realistic professional ceiling for a single DHI session is about 6,000 grafts. Sessions advertised at 7,000 or 8,000 grafts do not deliver reliable growth, and they expose the follicles to damage from the time spent outside the scalp. In advanced cases we recommend two sessions with an interval between them, and we say so before any booking.
Yes. A DHI hair transplant is the usual choice for women. Yes. Because the recipient area is not shaved, DHI is the usual choice for women, and for women who wear a headscarf in particular. The headscarf does not interfere with the session or with recovery. In the donor area at the back of the head, shaving is limited to a planned partial strip that stays covered while the hair grows back. A soft medical wrap replaces the usual headscarf for the first days. The separate path for women is on the hair transplant for women page.
A DHI hair transplant beyond the capacity of one session is planned as two from the start. In cases beyond the capacity of a single session, we discuss the two sessions at the first consultation, before anything is booked. The package price is set on the total graft count and the interval between the sessions, not as two separate fees, and the written plan sets both dates so that you can plan the travel around them. There are no hidden fees between the first session and the second. Your figure is confirmed in writing after the consultation, by graft count and donor area, and what the written consultation says is what you pay, nothing more.
Four nights covers the pre-operative check, the procedure day, the first wash at the clinic and a day of rest. Recovery from DHI runs six to eight days and most of it happens after you fly home. Flying home on the fourth or fifth day is normal, and the second wash on day ten is guided over WhatsApp wherever you are. Travel, hotel and airport pickup are arranged by Sima and billed separately at cost. Most Western governments advise against travel to Syria; their advice is linked on the travel guide, beside what operates on the ground. If you are Syrian and coming home, time the procedure with the visit; the team stays with you over WhatsApp after you fly back.
A hair transplant moves a person’s own follicles from one part of the head to another part of the same head, so it does not fall under the prohibition on adding another person’s hair. A number of contemporary scholars have ruled it permissible as the treatment of a defect, in the same way as other medical treatments. We advise consulting the religious authority you trust about your own case. After the session, wudu is performed normally with a light pass of the hand over the head and no pressure on the implanted area. Full prostration returns after day ten; in the first seven days the forehead is lowered without full pressure so that the follicles stay in place. The medical team includes this in the written aftercare instructions.
