Is DHI a different procedure from FUE?
No. DHI is a method inside the transplant, not a procedure of its own. The follicles are still taken from the donor area one by one with a fine micro-punch. The difference is how they are placed. With DHI, the Choi pen opens the channel and places the follicle in one motion, so the recipient area is not shaved and the angle is set for each follicle. Why DHI is not DHI Pro, and the truth about 7,000-graft sessions
DHI Pro is a marketing term with no accredited medical counterpart. The realistic professional ceiling for a single DHI session is about 6,000 grafts. Sessions advertised at 7,000 or 8,000 grafts do not deliver reliable growth, and they expose the follicles to damage from the time spent outside the scalp. In advanced cases we recommend two sessions with an interval between them, and we say so before any booking.
Is DHI suitable for women, including women who wear a headscarf?
Yes. A DHI hair transplant is the usual choice for women. Yes. Because the recipient area is not shaved, DHI is the usual choice for women, and for women who wear a headscarf in particular. The headscarf does not interfere with the session or with recovery. In the donor area at the back of the head, shaving is limited to a planned partial strip that stays covered while the hair grows back. What if I need two sessions, and how is the price calculated?
A DHI hair transplant beyond the capacity of one session is planned as two from the start. In cases beyond the capacity of a single session, we discuss the two sessions at the first consultation, before anything is booked. The package price is set on the total graft count and the interval between the sessions, not as two separate fees, and the written plan sets both dates so that you can plan the travel around them. There are no hidden fees between the first session and the second. Your figure is confirmed in writing after the consultation, by graft count and donor area, and what the written consultation says is what you pay, nothing more.
How many nights do I need for a DHI hair transplant in Aleppo?
Four nights covers the pre-operative check, the procedure day, the first wash at the clinic and a day of rest. Recovery from DHI runs six to eight days and most of it happens after you fly home. Flying home on the fourth or fifth day is normal, and the second wash on day ten is guided over WhatsApp wherever you are. Is a hair transplant permissible in Islam?
A hair transplant moves a person’s own follicles from one part of the head to another part of the same head, so it does not fall under the prohibition on adding another person’s hair. A number of contemporary scholars have ruled it permissible as the treatment of a defect, in the same way as other medical treatments. We advise consulting the religious authority you trust about your own case. After the session, wudu is performed normally with a light pass of the hand over the head and no pressure on the implanted area. Full prostration returns after day ten; in the first seven days the forehead is lowered without full pressure so that the follicles stay in place.
